With over 77,000 people living in Sherman Oaks, it is arguably at the epicenter of life in the valley. Near the Galleria, Castle Park is a great family friendly amusement center. Their miniature golf has several levels of difficulty for the whole family. The center also has a video game arcade and batting cages for additional entertainment options.

Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park

The Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park has options for an abundance of outdoor and athletic activities for yourself or the whole family. Swimming pools, running paths, soccer and football fields, baseball diamonds, and playgrounds are just a few of the activities they provide. They also host summer camps in addition to their sports leagues.

Dining

There is no shortage of amazing food options in Sherman Oaks. For breakfast, a neighborhood favorite is Blu Jam Café. Because it is a hot spot, you may expect a short wait on the weekends. The Sherman and The Local Peasant are two classic casual style restaurants located in prime areas right off Ventura Blvd. For more upscale dining, check out Petit Trois or Mistral, both excellent French bistros, or Wood and Water for modern American cuisine.
